Psychologist/Psychological Associate (Part-time)
An established, reputable psychology clinic in the Markham-Stouffville area is seeking a part-time associate. The clinic consists of a group of passionate psychologists and clinical associates that provides client-centred services to a diverse population, with a variety of presenting problems. The suitable candidate will provide psychological assessments and interventions for children, adolescents, and parents/families. Competency in adults would be considered an additional asset. Knowledge and interest in using evidence-based, integrative psychotherapeutic approaches, such as client-centred, emotion-focused, attachment/psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioural, and/or family systems approaches will be the best fit. Experience in school psychology will be an asset.
After-school and/or weekend hours required.

Requirements:
- Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical or Counselling Psychology OR Masters in Clinical or Counselling Psychology
- Competency in children, adolescents and families required. Additional competency in adults is an asset
- Current registration in good standing with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario preferred. Supervision in support of registration process is available, if required

Clinical Associate – Registered Psychotherapist, Registered Clinical Social Worker

The clinic consists of a group of passionate psychologists and clinical associates that provides client-centred services to a diverse population, with a variety of presenting problems.
The suitable candidate will have a specialty in providing counselling for children, adolescents, and parents/families (Age 6 – 18).
Regular high-quality supervision will be provided by a registered Psychologist with competence in school and clinical psychology.
In-person services and after-school and/or weekend hours will be required.

Compensation commensurate to credentials and experience.
Qualifications:
- Masters in Social Work OR Masters-level program central to the practice of psychotherapy
- Current registration in good standing, or Supervised Practice, with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Services Workers (OCSWSSW) OR College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO)
- Training and competence in psychotherapies with children and adolescents is required
- Competence in delivering child-centred, Cognitive-Behavioural therapeutic approach is required
- Knowledge and interests in play therapy, and evidence-based, integrative psychotherapeutic approaches, such as client-centred, attachment/psychodynamic, emotion-focused, and/or family systems approaches will be a strong asset

Volunteer Internship Position (April – August)
As part of our vision to support growth in the field of psychology, we routinely provide mentorship and supervision to the next generation of clinical psychology students and early career psychologists. We currently are offering a volunteer internship position for undergraduate students with aspiration in joining clinical psychology in their future careers.
We are an established, reputable psychology clinic in the Markham-Stouffville area. The clinic consists of a group of passionate psychologists and clinical associates that provides client-centred services to a diverse population, across lifespan, with a variety of presenting problems.
3 – 6 hours a week on Tuesday, Wednesday and/or Saturday, depending on clinic needs and learning goals.
Responsibility and Learning Opportunities:
- Key project of digitalizing psychological assessment records
- Learning about client confidentiality and ethical practice in handling client records
- Immersive experience in the daily operations of a psychology practice
- Potential learning opportunities, with supervision
- Digital scoring of some standardized diagnostic questionnaires
- Observing and, if appropriate, conducting intake calls
- Observing, if appropriate, psychometric testing session
Qualifications:
- Completed first year of undergraduate studies in a university Psychology program
- Experience working with children and adolescents will be an asset
- Excellent organization, communication, and writing skills
